Brighton’s Trennt Michaud and pairs partner Evelyn Walsh from London have been named to the Canadian World Figure Skating team.
Michaud and Walsh will be off to Stockholm Sweden to compete in the World Figure Skating Championships March 22 – 28.
This will be their first competition of the season.
Michaud and Walsh won a silver medal at last year’s Canadian Nationals and qualified for the Worlds in Montreal last March. However, it was one of the first events cancelled due to COVID.
The 24-year-old Michaud is formerly with the Prince Edward Figure Skating Club and now trains in Brantford.
