A regional Member of Provincial Parliament, who was recently removed from Twitter over COVID-19 messaging, talked with the Mix Morning Crew Thursday morning.
Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston Independent MPP Randy Hillier discussed COVID-19, lockdowns, masks and more.
He says what the evidence and science say are wrong.
“The evidence has shown us throughout our country, 96 percent of all deaths have been elderly people, with significant other underlying or pre-existing illnesses. Over 80 percent of the deaths have been in long term care.”
He says the average age of all deaths from COVID is 84, and the response targeted at young healthy people is misguided, and misses who is at risk.
“We’ve been destroying our economy, destroying people’s lives, their businesses, foreclosing on people’s homes, rationing health care, for all those people who are never at risk”
“We’ve never ever engaged in these sorts of activities over a respiratory virus, because every year there is always a respiratory virus.”
Hillier, People’s Party Leader Maxime Bernier, local Independent MP Derek Sloan (Hastings-Lennox and Addington), and approximately four dozen other elected officials have joined a group called the “End the Lock down Caucus”.

Hillier, the once PC Member is now sitting as an Independent, and says party politicians cannot speak out for fear of retribution.
“Threat from the parties is so powerful to so many people, it precludes and prohibits any honest discussion on COVID.”
