On March 2, 2021 at approximately 3:45 a.m., Belleville police responded to a request for assistance by Hastings-Quinte Paramedics to an address near the intersection of Pinnacle Street and Bridge Street East in the city of Belleville.
Upon police arrival a 59-year-old male Belleville resident was located deceased in a garage on the old Quinte Hotel property.
Belleville Police Service continues to investigate this matter in partnership with the Coroner’s Office. An autopsy is scheduled for today.

A body has been discovered at the former Hotel Quinte property.
Around 4:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, Belleville Fire, city police, and Hastings-Quinte Paramedics were called for a person in medical distress.
When crews arrived, they discovered a body on the property at Bridge Street and Pinnacle, adjacent to Bridge Street United Church.
The coroner has been called in.
