Two people from Prince Edward County are facing several charges including assaulting an officer following an incident in Consecon Monday.
Prince Edward County OPP were asked to attend a residence to assist an inspector from the Provincial Animal Welfare Service.
Officers attended the scene and after speaking with the individuals at the residence, officers were assaulted and a vehicle was damaged.
Forty-two-year-old Gina Marshall was charged with two counts of resisting a peace officer, dangerous operation, mischief and assault a peace officer.
Forty-two-year-old Laverne Marshall faces charges of resist peace officer, assault a peace officer and uttering threats.
Both were released on undertakings and are to appear in court on April 21.
