The Quinte Economic Development Commission has received $47,600 to raise awareness of the region’s manufacturing sector.
The Rural Economic Development fund has announced that 16 projects have been selected for funding, the Quinte Economic Development Commission among them.
The funding will be used to create company profiles and create a landing page to monitor job referrals.
Bay of Quinte MPP Todd Smith said of the funding announcement:
“There are many good paying manufacturing jobs with benefits available at employers across the Quinte Region. As our economy recovers post-Covid this program will be a valuable tool in connecting potential employees to available jobs.“
