There was a small fire in an apartment in west end Belleville early today (Wednesday).
Firefighters were called out at 4:30 this morning to an apartment building located at 205 Bridge Street West, just west of Sidney Street and across from the fairgrounds.
Flames could be seen from outside the building. The fire was under control in 20 minutes.
There were no reports of injury but the building had to be ventilated.
