A person working for Mohawk Bus Lines has tested positive for COVID-19.
That news was announced by the band council for the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte Tuesday afternoon.
It was also announced that Mohawk buses would not be running until the week of March 8.
In a later release on social media, the band council stated that because of information gleaned from contact tracing it was asking all high school students to stay home today (Wednesday) and tomorrow.
The Quinte Mohawk School will not offer any in-person classes and students will move to online classes until at least March 22.
