Police executed two search warrants in Belleville on Monday resulting in the seizure of weapons and cash.
The Belleville Police Service, working in partnership with the Durham Regional Police Service, conducted an investigation in Belleville and carried out two search warrants at a residence and commercial retail store at a North Front Street address.
Two firearms as well as approximately $20,000 cash were seized during the investigation.
Forty-year-old Blair Crawford of Belleville was charged with a number of firearms related offences.

Crawford was held for a bail hearing Tuesday.
