One person was seriously injured early Saturday morning in an incident at an overpass on Old Wilton Road in Odessa.
Lennox and Addington OPP were called to the overpass shortly after 3 a.m. for reports of a distraught person.
An 18-year-old from Odessa was on the overpass over the 401 and when officers tried to approach the individual, they fell from the bridge and sustained life-threatening injuries.
The person was transported to hospital and the highway was briefly closed.
The Special Investigations Unit has invoked its mandate to investigate the incident further.
