A traffic stop for speeding on Highway 401 in Napanee resulted in much more.
Lennox and Addington OPP on patrol late Thursday morning initiated the stop on the eastbound 401 near Palace Road.
Investigation revealed that there was open alcohol and marijuana in the vehicle.
Twenty-six-year-old Kenley Civil of Montreal was charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Possession of over 30g of dried cannabis in a public place
- Possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling
- Unlawful purchase of Cannabis
- Speeding
- No brake Lights
- Colour Coating obscuring interior
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Napanee in April.
