The Electrical Safety Authority has named a local woman as their new Chair of the Board of Directors.
Annette Bergeron of Napanee is taking over for Peter Gregg.
She was named to the ESA board six years ago, and most recently served as the Chair of the People and Culture and Governance Committee.
Bergeron was recently President of Engineers Canada, and has held positions with the Professional Engineers of Ontario and President of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers, and a Director of Kingston General Hospital, and the South East Local Health Integration Network.
The Electrical Safety Authority’s mission is to improve electrical safety in the province.
