Ontario’s Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation, and Trade joined the Lorne Brooker Show this week.
Vic Fedeli covered various topics, including the health unit zones, and what that allows residents to do.
Brooker asked him about whether or not entertainment, and sporting events will be back in the near future.
” I think the vaccine really is the key. We absolutely need to see the vaccine so that we have a sense of security. Because Belleville has opened, that doesn’t mean we’re out of the woods here.”
He also discussed grants for small businesses.
” … the small business support grant, and it’s up to $20,000. They can go to www.ontario.ca/covidsupport If you’re a business under 100 employees and you’ve had a loss of revenue because you were closed by the province or that you were significantly reduced, you can get up to $20,000.”
He adds there is also a grant for Personal Protective Equipment at the office, or store, or job site.
