It is one of the largest puzzles in the world, not only in overall size, but in pieces as well.
The Ravensburger Memorable Moments Puzzle of Disney has more than 40,000 pieces.
A 24-year old Belleville resident is looking to assemble it faster than anyone else.
Maxine Olive is a graduate of Centre Hastings Secondary and a native of Thomasburg. Olive now lives in Belleville, and says she is good at assembling puzzles, and enjoys it.
Audio PlayerThe puzzle is 22 feet long by 6 feet wide (140 sq ft), weighs 44 pounds and costs about $700 Canadian. Olive says the current record is 380 hours by an American, which means she would not only surpass the current record, but crush it. The puzzle takes on average about 600 hours to complete (75 eight hour days).
We will continue to follow her progress.
