A 33-year-old Belleville man faces a theft charge after a business on Millennium Parkway was robbed of two shopping carts full of items early last night (Thursday).
Belleville police responded to the business at 7:20 and were advised that the man had threatened to stab a security guard at the store.
Officers stopped a suspect as he was attempting to get away in a vehicle.
After investigation it was learned the unidentified man was wanted on previous theft and fraud charges.
