As Hastings and Prince Edward counties prepare to reopen Wednesday, four new cases of COVID-19 are being reported in the area.
HPE Public Health’s dashboard for Tuesday shows 10 active cases of the virus.
One of the new cases is related to travel, one close contact and the other two causes are pending.
The seven day case rate per 100,000 people is 4.7.
Northumberland County is reporting three new cases on Tuesday.
There are 30 active cases.
The HKPR dashboard puts Northumberland’s seven day case rate per 100,000 at 34.9.
