There has been another bust by Project Renewal.
On Monday, police arrested a male wanted for outstanding charges outside a convenience store in Belleville’s west end.
The suspect was found to be in possession of crack cocaine, pink Fentanyl and cash.
Police then executed a search warrant at a west end address in Belleville with the assistance of the Belleville Police Service Emergency Response Team and Belleville Police Service K9 Unit.
Seized as a result of the arrest and search warrant were :
5 grams of Fentanyl – street value approx. $1,500
.3 grams of Cocaine – street value approx. $20
10 – 30 milligrams Morphine pills – street value approx. $450
Canadian currency – $1,055
Thirty-seven-year-old Richard Attfield of Belleville is charged with:
Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl) for the Purpose of Trafficking
Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) for the Purpose of Trafficking
Possession of a Controlled Substance (Morphine) for the Purpose of Trafficking
Possession of Proceeds of Crime
He was held for a bail hearing on Tuesday.
