OPP RESPOND TO SUSPICIOUS PERSON IN BANCROFT
(BANCROFT, ON) – On February 6, 2021 shortly after 8:00 p.m. officers from the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a suspicious person on Chemaushgon Road in the Town of Bancroft. Investigation into the incident revealed that an adult unknown to the occupants had attended their residence and threatened them.
Daniel SARGINSON 36 years old of Bancroft, Ontario has been charged with the criminal offences of:
- Uttering threats
- Fail to comply with probation.
The accused was released from custody to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft, Ontario on March 9, 2021 in relation to the criminal charges.
OPP RESPOND TO DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE IN BANCROFT
(BANCROFT, ON) – On February 6, 2021 shortly after 8:00 a.m. officers from the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a domestic disturbance in the Town of Bancroft. Officers attended a residence and two adults were arrested.
A 19 year old of Bancroft, Ontario has been charged with the criminal offence of mischief – two counts. The accused was released from custody to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft, Ontario on March 9, 2021 in relation to the criminal charges.
A 20 year old of Bancroft, Ontario has been charged with the criminal offence of assault. The accused was released from custody to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft, Ontario on March 9, 2021 in relation to the criminal charge.
OPP CHARGE DRIVER WITH OVER 80
(LIMERICK TOWNSHIP, ON) – On the evening of February 5, 2021 officers from the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) check on Highway 620 in Limerick Township. An approved screening device (ASD) was utilized on one of the drivers at the R.I.D.E. check. The driver was arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.
Justin HOWARD, 31 years old of Limerick Township, Ontario has been charged with the criminal offence of operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft, On tario on March 9, 2021 in relation to the criminal charge.
OPP INVESTIGATE INDECENT ACT
(CARLOW-MAYO TOWNSHIP, ON) – On February 6, 2021 shortly after 4:30 p.m. officers from the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an indecent act that had occurred at a residence on Highway 28 in Carlow-Mayo Township, Ontario.
Investigation into the incident has resulted in the arrest of one adult.
Justin PATERSON, 27 years old of Carlow-Mayo Township, Ontario has been charged with the following criminal offences:
- Indecent act
- Fail to comply with probation
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on March 9, 2021.
