The Belleville Police responded to 53 calls for service between February 3, 2021 at 5 a.m. and February 4, 2021 at 5 a.m.
Theft
On February 3, 2021 at 3:45 p.m., officers attended a business on Millennium Parkway in regards to two shoplifters. Upon arrival, police received information that a male and female attempted to leave the store with merchandise they did not pay for. As a result, Jesse Breen, 38, and Krystal Sanderson, 37, both of Belleville were charged with theft under $5000 and possession of stolen property. They were released on appearance notices with a court date of March 18, 2021.
Breach of Release Conditions
On February 3, 2021 at 7:45 p.m., officers were called to an address on College Street East in regards to an aggressive male. When officers arrived on scene, they received information that the male was on conditions to obey the rules of the residence, and remain in his residence. The male had left the residence, and he was located walking on Cannifton Road. The 23-year-old Belleville male was located and arrested. He was charged with one count of failing to comply with a release order and held for a bail hearing on February 4, 2021.
