Prince Edward County OPP arrested one person while responding to a break and enter in progress Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were called to a residence on County Road 3 in Ameliasburgh Ward around 4:30 p.m.
A suspect was located and arrested along the roadway.
Thirty-five-year-old Mathew Scero of Belleville was charged with break, enter a dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offence.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on March 10.
