Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the OPP were conducting radar patrol on Highway 7 early Wednesday morning.
Shortly after 2 a.m., an officer clocked a vehicle travelling at 156 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
The 22-year-old driver of Peterborough, Ontario was charged with stunt driving in relation to excessive speed
The accused had their driver’s licence suspended and vehicle impounded for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on April 12, 2021.
