The Belleville Police Service responded to 51 calls between January 31, 2021 at 5 a.m. and February 1, 2021 at 5 a.m.
Motor vehicle collision leads to charge
On January 31, 2021 shortly before 5 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in the area of Pine St. and Lingham St. in Belleville’s east end. No injuries were reported, but damage to both motor vehicles was moderate. Both had to be towed from the location. Through the investigation, it was determined that the at fault driver failed to yield to traffic on a through highway. As a result, a 20-year-old female from Belleville was charged.
