Quinte West council will decide on whether or not to allow more free parking in the city at its meeting tonight.
Originally, free parking was offered until January 23, the original date the province said it would end its COVID-19 lockdown period.
However the lockdown has been extended.
The recommendation from staff is to waive all parking fees until the lockdown is declared over.
Quinte West loses about $9,000 a month in parking revenue.
