The City of Belleville is looking to give residents a bit of a financial break.
Although you still owe what you owe, a deferral has been announced by the municipality.
At the January 25 city council meeting, members approved the deferral of the first of two tax instalment payments.
Staff says they will push back the payment by one month past the due date.
Spokeswoman Marilyn Warren says the municipality is continuing to ease the impact of COVID-19 on businesses and residents.
