Frigid temperatures this weekend have prompted the City of Belleville to keep its warming centre open through Sunday night.
The warming centre, in the old Belleville Police headquarters on Dundas Street East, will be open Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night, between 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
Beds and meals aren’t provided, but anyone who needs to get out of the cold will be able to do so.
Any visitors will be screened for COVID-19 at the door, with masks and social distancing practices in place while they’re inside.
