A single vehicle crash on Highway 401 near the Big Apple has resulted in several charges, including an impaired charge, against a North York man.
Northumberland OPP says emergency services were called to the collision in the eastbound lanes just east of the Big Apple in Cramahe Township around 3 a.m. Sunday.
Officers located the grey Toyota 4 door sedan on its roof in the south side ditch.
The driver and only occupant of the vehicle was found to be uninjured and under the influence of alcohol.
A 38-year-old male was charged with Operation while impaired.
The driver, who was found to be a novice class licenced driver, was additionally charged with several offences under the Highway Traffic Act.
