A Belleville woman faces an assault charge after a nurse at Belleville General Hospital was punched in the face late Sunday night.
City police say the incident began after they responded to a distraught female, outside the city’s warming centre at the former police station, who was demanding to go to the hospital.
Shortly after 11 p.m. police took her to the hospital and sometime after that a nurse was punched.
Charged was 35-year-old Theresa Kelleher.
