An Ajax person was charged in what provincial police call a weapons incident in Hastings Highlands Saturday night.
Bancroft OPP responded to a call about an incident on Graphite Road just before 9 p.m.
Officers, along with the OPP Emergency Response Team, then attended a residence on Highway 62 in Hastings Highlands and arrested one person.
Twenty-nine-year-old Mitchell Grimes of Ajax is charged with Assault with a weapon, Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Imitation firearm – use while committing offence and four counts of Fail to comply with release order.
The accused was held in custody and was scheduled to appear in court in Belleville on Monday.
