The COVID-19 outbreak at the Golden Plough Lodge long term care home in Cobourg has been extended after another staff member tested positive.
It was announced Friday that a staff member who last worked Wednesday, January 20 had tested positive.
The outbreak was originally declared January 16 following the first positive case in a staff member and has been extended to February 3.
The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge health unit has completed contact tracing and has deemed the risk of exposure in the home is low.
