Three people have been charged in connection with a break-in in Trenton last Saturday morning.
Quinte West OPP were called to a restaurant on Davis Street East and told that at around 6:00 that morning, someone broke in through a window and stole various consumable items and a cash box.
That suspect was seen entering a nearby home following the theft.
The Quinte West Community Street Crime Unit obtained a search warrant and raided that home, where they found the stolen property, along with other items that were stolen from another business on Old Highway 2 and a home on County Road 2, the same night.
The following people were arrested and charged:
Twenty-nine-year-old Shelby-Dawn Stillwell of no fixed address is charged with:
- Theft under $5000
- Possession of property obtained by crime three counts
- Possession of a schedule one substance – Methamphetamine
Twenty-four-year-old Eric Wallace of Prince Edward County is charged with:
- Theft under $5000 – three counts
- Possession of property obtained by crime – three counts
- Possession of a schedule one substance – Methamphetamine
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon – two counts
and 33-year-old Adam Conder of Quinte West is charged with:
- Theft under $5000 – three counts
- Possession of property obtained by crime – three counts
- Possession of a schedule one substance – Methamphetamine
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order
- Fail to comply with a probation order
Police say the investigation is continuing and additional arrests and charges are anticipated.
