Belleville councillors will hold a special meeting on Wednesday afternoon to further discuss the vacant seat on council, left by the passing of Councillor Pat Culhane late last year.
Council will receive a report from the ad hoc Committee that was set up to help select a replacement for the vacant Ward 1 seat and will make a decision on whether or not to accept that recommendation moving forward.
The meeting will be held virtually due to COVID-19 protocols and will be available for public viewing on the City of Belleville’s YouTube channel, starting at 2:00 p.m.
