It’s been talked about for some time but soon or at least as soon as possible there will be a beer store operating in Belleville’s busiest business district.
Vice President of Retail for The Beer Store Ozzie Ahmed has confirmed to Quinte News that the Station Street beer store will be closing and another one will open along Bell Boulevard.
The South Front Street outlet will remain open.
The new store, a palletized self-serve operation with separate area for empties, will be located at 167 Bell Boulevard where Future Shop used to be.
It’s hoped the new store will open in late spring but nothing is certain due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
