A man from Saskatoon has been arrested after Lennox and Addington OPP were called to investigate a suspicious vehicle on Tuesday night.
Officers responded to an apartment building parking lot off Dundas Street in Greater Napanee, to find a man sleeping inside a running vehicle.
A brief investigation found that the car had been reported stolen by a rental company, so the driver 29-year-old Cole Lariviere was arrested.
He’s been charged with impaired driving, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of Fentanyl.
He was released with a March 16, 2021 court date in Napanee, his licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for a week.
