Quinte West OPP say they will not be laying charges against the driver of a tractor trailer that was reportedly driving erratically on Highway 401 on Sunday morning.
Officers responded to the westbound lanes of the highway between Wallbridge-Loyalist and Aikins roads, around 11:00 a.m., where callers had reported the truck hitting a sign and the concrete median, nearly hitting other vehicles.
Police found the truck at the Trenton ONroute and found the driver had been in medical distress and was not impaired.
He was taken to the hospital, but no update has been given on his condition.
