Pandemic or no pandemic, the construction business in the Municipality of Brighton was much the same last year as it was in 2019.
Last year 74 permits were issued for new residential units in Brighton for a total value of $37.4 million.
The year before, 81 permits were residential and valued at just over $35 million.
Last month in Brighton, permits were issued for six new houses, two in town and four in the rural part of the community.
