There was a false alert yesterday on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. A confirmed positive case was reported on the HPE Public Health Dashboard but has since been corrected as an error.
To date there has only been one confirmed case of the virus on the territory and it was resolved months ago.
The case reported on Friday was an error and there are no active cases to date.
There were six new cases in Hastings and Prince Edward counties reported yesterday bringing the total of active cases to 27. Two people remain hospitalized.
