A woman has died after a fire in Colborne on Wednesday afternoon.
Cramahe Township Firefighters were called to the blaze at a home on Norton Street around 2:30 p.m., with Northumberland OPP officers arriving a short time later.
Firefighters were able to pull the woman from the burning home and she was taken by paramedics to a nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead there.
The victim’s ID is being withheld until the family is notified, with the Ontario Fire Marshal and OPP remaining on scene to investigate.
