There’s been a bit of a jump in the number of positive COVID-19 tests in Hastings Prince Edward today.
The HPE Public Health Dashboard is reporting 10 new cases, with 36 active and just one recovery.
Four of the new cases were found in Quinte West and three were found in Belleville, with two in Centre Hastings and one in North Hastings.
The seven day case rate per 100,000 has jumped back up to 23.7, which means if the province wasn’t locked down, we would be back on the brink of a move into the Orange Zone of Ontario’s COVID-19 response framework.
Some good news though, is that an outbreak at the Wellington Legion has been declared over and there are no other ongoing outbreaks.
In Northumberland County, the HKPR Health Unit Dashboard shows 11 new cases today, with 37 active and seven recoveries.
