Today (Sunday) was a good day as far as new COVID-19 infections were concerned locally.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reported no new cases in either county.
There are now 27 active cases with two people being treated in hospital, down from three. None of the people in hospital are in intensive care or on a ventilator.
Meanwhile, public health for Northumberland County did not provide a coronavirus update today.
On Saturday, there were 21 new cases reported in Northumberland.
