“It was a catalyst for a lot of small businesses to get more digital. I think that it is something that has been around for the last couple of years. The government has funded this because they knew that we had to encourage small businesses to get more digital to get online, make sure they had websites and the software needed to survive and compete.”
“For the chamber ourselves, 2020 meant the cancellation of all of our events. We put on events for the community, we have done them because they have helped to support other things that were going on in our community. The cancellation of those and some of our business-focused events was a financial hit to us as well.”
