Road improvements, both in Madoc and in rural areas will continue in Centre Hastings in the new year.
However, mayor of Centre Hastings Tom Deline says he and his council have one hope they’d really like to see come true in 2021.
“I know our council is looking forward to hopefully having the province announce us for a long term care facility. We don’t know for sure but I can tell you it’s needed, I can tell you it’s warranted and I can tell you it’s right!”
Mayor Deline also expects what he calls a “good working relationship” with Madoc Township to continue this year.
Madoc Township is a partner with Centre Hastings in the medical centre, landfill site, and arena.
