The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating two separate incidents that occurred in the Oak Hills area.
On Monday December 28, 2020, shortly after 2:00 p.m., officers were called to the area of Oak Lake Road in the City of Quinte West.
Witnesses reported that a suspicious male was observed taking photos with a cell phone and trespassing onto private property.
The suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 40 years old, medium build, black hair, with facial hair, wearing a black coat, blue jeans, black ball cap and glasses.
On Tuesday December 29, 2020, shortly after 8:30 p.m., officers were called to a residence on Foxboro-Stirling Road for the report of a break and enter.
An unknown male allegedly entered the residence and then left when he was confronted by the homeowners who were inside the residence at the time.
The suspect left in an older model, small, dark coloured car.
The suspect was described as white male, approximately six feet tall (183 cm), medium build, 25-30 years old, with dark stubble on his face.
The suspect was wearing dark pants, a plaid zip-up shirt with grey hoodie over it, and a black tuque with a peak. Nothing was reported stolen or damaged in this incident.

The OPP recommends doors be kept locked on a regular basis and to report suspicious activity to your local Police.
