The Ministry of Labour says it has issued two orders to a Belleville food processing company after an employee was critically injured on Wednesday.
Emergency crews were called to JBS Foods at 240 Jamieson Bone Road just after 2:00 p.m. where a man in his mid-20s got his arm caught in a grinder.
He was taken to Kingston General Hospital for treatment, but there has been no update on his condition.
A ministry spokesperson says an investigator attended the scene before issuing the orders and that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
No other details about the orders were released.
