Motor Vehicle Collision involving deer
Belleville, Ontario – On December 30, 2020 at approximately 7:34 a.m., police responded to the area of Hwy 37 and Ritz Road where a vehicle had struck a deer. There was damage to the vehicle but no injuries. The deer was apparently uninjured and fled prior to police arrival.
Workplace Injury
Belleville, Ontario – On December 30, 2020 at approximately 2 p.m., police responded with Belleville Fire and Paramedics to an industrial location where an employee was injured in the arm while operating a machine. The 20-year-old man was assisted by emergency services and taken directly to Kingston General Hospital for treatment. The Ministry of Labour is continuing to investigate the circumstances.
Theft of Vehicle
Belleville, Ontario – On December 30, 2020, police received information that a black 2007 Ford Focus had been stolen from an address on Yeomans St. The vehicle had ON licence plates CABS 678 attached.
