Jill Raycroft says 2020 was a year of difficulty, but also one of hard work.
The CEO for the Belleville and District Chamber of Commerce tells Quinte News that the pandemic made life very difficult for local business.
” … past year was one of incredible change and adjustment. We looked at 2019 as the end of a decade, and it put a great deal of pressure on 2020, to shine a spotlight onto a new decade we hoped would be filled with promise, opportunity, and success. Then we have a pandemic.”
She said it was not just business that had change, but also the chamber itself.
“From the chamber side, we had made some significant changes in our own operation the last couple of years, that we were very thankful for in March 2020, that allowed us to work from home, stay connected, and to continue to support our membership.”
