The mayor of Brighton is looking back at 2020 and sees a community that rose to the COVID-19 pandemic challenge.
Mayor Brian Ostrander says the total reconstruction of the town’s Sanford Street is almost complete, with just paving left to be done in the spring. And several rural roads were resurfaced this year.
“I’m particularly proud of staff who just buckled down and got the work done that they knew council was looking for them to get done before we knew there would be a pandemic.”
