We received a fair bit of rain yesterday but not anywhere close to a record rain for a Christmas Eve.
According to Environment Canada 20.5 millimetres of rain fell yesterday.
That’s a little over three quarters of an inch.
However, back on December 24 of 1941 much more fell than that with rain gauges overflowing with 97 mm or almost four inches of rain.
