Prince Edward County is going to see new rules in regards to short-term accommodation rentals.
The rules have been affected by the shutdown announced by the province this week.
If a short-term reservation was made already, you are fine, however after Boxing Day, you will be out of luck.
County officials says no new reservations can be made, with the sole exception of residents in need of emergency housing.
The restrictions apply to whole-home and owner tenant occupied short-term accommodations, cabins, and cottages.
Hotels, motels, lodges, resorts, and student residence buildings will not be affected.
