Three small businesses are being proposed on a farm along Airport Parkway in Belleville.
Owner Brian Reid is hoping to rezone part of his farm at 466A Airport Parkway, just south of CN rail tracks, to
allow a depot for a property maintenance business, 10 mini-lock storage units in the form of metal containers, and an
area for the sale of bulk landscaping materials.
The storage units would be blocked from view by a hedgerow.
The property to be rezoned is now designated Prime Agricultural. There is little commercial or residential development currently near the farm.
An initial public meeting into the proposal will be held at Belleville’s Planning Advisory Committee meeting on January 4.
A decision on the application will be made at a later date.
