Belleville police are asking for information from the public after a vehicle inside a storage unit was destroyed by fire early last night (Monday).
Belleville firefighters and police responded to a storage lot on Herchimer Avenue just before 8 o’clock to find a storage unit and the vehicle inside it fully engulfed in flames.
The fire was put out quickly.
A 41-year-old Belleville man walking near the vehicle was initially arrested but was later released without being charged.
