The mayor of Centre Hastings calls 2020 a difficult but still good year for the community.
Despite the pandemic, roadwork and water/sewer projects have been completed.
Mayor Tom Deline says it’s been a positive experience working with his fellow council members.
“Everyone has their direct opinion but when the vote is done the vote is done and you proceed. Because if you rehash and rehash then nothing gets done and you don’t get any benefit to your local taxpayer.”
Mayor Deline says an updated Asset Management Plan will be ready in the new year which will guide councils on priority infrastructure needs in Centre Hastings for years to come.
